Therapeutic Massage

 

Swedish Massage:

A traditional massage where the use of effleurage, petrissage, kneading and tapotment are integrated within the massage session. Swedish massage is recommended to relax away your tension and relieve general aches and pains.

 

Deep Tissue Massage:

Uses Swedish massage techniques with deeper pressure being applied to the tissue and muscle. Deep tissue massage is recommended for those who have tight muscles. You will benefit from the release of tight, sore and tense muscles.

**Not recommended for sensitive people.

 

Sports Massage:

Pre & Post event sports massage utilizes two different massage techniques. Pre-event is designed to get the blood flowing to the mucles quicker. Post-event massage is a more relaxing massage and helps lessen the chance for injury. These massages use different strokes and modalities, to help athletes obtain maximum performance. Recovery, Remedial, Rehabilitation, and Maintenance.

 

Hot Stone Therapy:

A Swedish massage with the use of hot stones to warm the area for a better release of tension and/or tightness. With the end result of a very relaxing massage.

 

Pregnancy Massage:

A gentle and relaxing Swedish massage to help the ever-changing body of the epecting mother. Reflexology, acupressure and light strokes are applied to help relieve pressures, backaches, leg cramps and reduce swelling.

 

Chair Massage Events:

A massage done on a special chair, through your clothing and focues mostly on the back and neck, lasting about 10-20 min's.  Chair massage can be provided at corperate events, gatherings, lunch breaks, scrapbooking events, reunions, high school post-proms, etc.  Please call to make arrangements and for pricing.
